There are total 9 kinds of assistant skills in the MSO. But I don?t think it is necessary to train all of them.
First of all let?s talk about the five skills which can enhance the element power to the five element QiGong.
Pi Li-----Enhance Gold Qi Gong Power
Yi Hua-----Enhance Wood Qi Gong Power
Ham Bim-----Enhance Water Qi Gong Power
Zi Sha-----Enhance Fire Qi Gong Power
Chan Yuen-----Enhance Earth Qi Gong Power
Well according to what I?ve talked in the Magician Guide Part I. No one will use both Fong Dau and Sha Yan at the same time to attack mobs cause using these two skills together will have conflict. So I think it is unnecessary to learn Ham Bim.
As for Chan Yuen and Yi Hua, if you want to train your magician to be a pure healing magician, you can learn these two skills. If you just want to build your magician to be an attacking magician, I suggest you not waste time to learn these two skills.
As for Pi Li and Zi Sha, well that depends on which style you mainly train. Someone prefer to train Gold and other may tend to Fire. In a word, as you like. But if you have enough time to train both, you would become stronger kekeke...
Ok now, we talk about the Zin Zong and Tia Bu. I think it is necessary to learn Zin Zong. Enhancing own defensive power is necessary, isn?t it? And what about the Tia Bu? Shall we learn it? Well once again, that depends on your magician building style. As a healing magician, learning it is necessary. As for attacking magician, if you have time and money, it is also not so bad to learn it.
About the To Na and Tai Chin. It is the same situation with Zin Zong and Tia Bu. To Na is necessary and I think every magician should learn it. When the skill is in high level, its recovering speed is higher than eating catholicon.
4. The weapon choice to a magician
Though weapon is not so important for a magician, we still can use it in some ways.
* Using basic dart or bow to attract mobs.
* Using the weapon skills to attract mobs.
* Using the effect of weapon skills.
Most of the magicians use Dart as their weapon. There are some advantages:
* The attacking mode of Dart is distance attack, and it has extra effect---poisonous.
* The attack range of Chi Yua is wide enough to attract a certain amount of mobs. It is even wider than Hom Lian.
* Yin An is a very fast skill and you will draw back after attacking, which can keep a certain distance between you and mobs. Then you can cast your magic/spell again.
Some magicians use Bow as their weapon. It is kinda similar with Dart but speed is not so high as Dart.
Also some magicians use Fists. Magicians Fists Style mainly use Ru Fong to push away mobs or use Yea Chao and Chon Shaw to stun mobs.
There?s also got some magicians use the Spear. The attack range of Wu Long is very wide too. And Fong Chi can penetrate into the mobs group.
And about the katana and sword, few magicians use it, so here I won?t talk about them.
Conclusion: Dart is the best choice for a magician. You can only take a weapon to attract mobs without learning its weapon skills. Or you can just learn one kind of useful weapon skill. Such as Chi Yue, Po Tien or Wu long.
